What is the standard return policy for ItParts.us products?

Products sold by ItParts.us are supported by our Standard Return Policy unless otherwise indicated. Merchandise under our Standard Return Policy may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Because many companies offer additional factory coverage, you should contact the manufacturer directly for information regarding eligibility and specific Terms and Conditions.

What is It Parts Software Return Policy?

Retail Boxed software may only be returned for refund within 30 days of the invoice date if the packaging is unopened and factory sealed, restocking fee will apply. Opened retail boxed software can only be returned for replacement if it is defective or damaged. You may exchange defective software for an identical replacement by contacting ItParts.us Customer Service and acquiring an RMA number. No software returns will be accepted after 30 days. All OEM software including Operating Systems is non-refundable once purchased and delivered. OEM versions are intended for system builders only and cannot be transferred to another PC once it is installed.

What is the return policy for CPUs? How does the CPU return policy work?

Please refer our Return Policy for details. Announcing a CPU as defective and requesting a Refund does not automatically waive the restocking fee. Defective CPUs will be replaced, not refunded.

Physical damage to any product will void the product's warranty. Improper installation of CPU fans and/or improper clocking may cause CPUs to chip. CPUs that are chipped, burnt or have bent pins are considered physically damaged and cannot be returned for refund or replacement. Physical damage includes but is not limited to improper handling and/or any other type of damage sustained by irregular usage.

ItParts.us encounters bent pins regularly when inspecting physically damaged CPUs. Forcing a processor into position will not solve an installation problem and may result in applicable warranty coverage being voided.

Because Intel and AMD do not accept physically damaged processors, ItParts.us will return any physically damaged CPU to you at your expense.


What is the return policy for bundle specials?

If you wish to return a Bundle Special for a refund, you must return the ENTIRE BUNDLE within 30 days of purchase. Note that a 15% restocking fee will be applied on refunds. Components within a Bundle Special may be returned for replacement only. Individual items may only be returned for replacement if an RMA number is acquired within the item's return policy period.

What happens when an item is out-of-stock?

We do not sell merchandise that we don't stock, which is why we provide a convenient RFQ feature. Simply fill in the RFQ Form and we will work with our Suppliers to arrange the parts for you. You receive an e-mail notification as soon as the product becomes available for purchase.

Will ItParts.us test parts or assemble a system using the components I purchase?

Sorry we don’t assemble systems, we sell parts only.

Can ItParts.us advise me of whether the components I am purchasing are compatible?

We do not offer any technical assistance. We also do not offer advice on compatibility of items. We sell ONLY individual Hardware and Software items. Please contact the manufacturers for accurate answers to your technical questions.

Does ItParts.us know the estimated time of arrival for out-of-stock merchandise?

Occasionally, we post the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for popular products that are out of stock. Otherwise, we do not offer ETA on products, due to industry intangibles. We provide an Auto-Notify button for your convenience. Out of stock products that remain listed on our website are usually in stock within a week or so. If we expect that a product will be out of stock for an extended period of time, we will remove its listing from our website.

Can ItParts.us inform me if and when it will carry an item not currently sold on the website?

Due to the large number of products available to us for purchase, we cannot comment on if and when we will be acquiring new products. However, we have strength in Sourcing parts, you may submit your Request for Quote, and will try our best to source the same and provide you with availability and pricing.

Does ItParts.us provide contact information for the manufacturers whose products they carry?

What are the differences between the OEM and retail versions of a product?

Retail versions may come with additional accessories, retail packaging, bundled software and warranty coverage. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), White Box and Brown Box versions include the product and sometimes the drivers, but not much else. They are packaged generically and do not include software. OEM products are best suited for system builders who don't require documentation or bundled accessories.

What is a refurbished item? Does ItParts.us refurbish items or does the original manufacturer?

Refurbished items have been opened and touched and/or returned. Because they originate from different situations, they may or may not include accessories, documentation or retail packaging. Refurbished products are warranted for only 30 days. We recommend that you try out your refurbished product immediately after receiving it.

Can ItParts.us Customer Support agents physically obtain a product and describe it to me?

Because our inventory is stored in different warehouses, our agents can physically get a hold of any product to describe it for you, which are located at our Fremont Facility. However all the parts from other locations cannot be Described to you on the phone. Please email us at sales@Itparts.us for any such queries.

How can I obtain a price, stock or shipping quote from ItParts.us?

Does ItParts.us offer any technical support or advice?

ItParts.us does not offer any technical assistance. Please contact the manufacturers for accurate answers to your technical questions and for insight on how different products interact together.

Will ItParts.us special order merchandise that is not currently listed on the website?

What does "Bare Card," "Bare Drive," or "Drive Only" mean?

These items come exactly as they are described. Although these items are brand new, they are purchased in bulk and do not include any documentation, software or accessories.

Suggestion: Most drivers and documentation can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website. Refer to the Product Images to see exactly what is included with the product you're interested in.
